"Forest Giants Project" começou com o estudo de uma espécie nativa da ilha de São Tomé e Príncipe - o caracol Obô. Sendo que este pequeno (grande) animal encontra-se ameaçado por outros que habitam as florestas da respetiva região, este projeto tem o propósito de apresentar e expandir a importância da conservação animal e vegetal e sensibilizar a população local (sobretudo a mais jovem). Este livro, ao qual tive o prazer de participar, foi o resultado destas afirmações. 

Forest Giants Project" started with the study of a native species of the island of São Tomé and Príncipe - the Obô snail. Since this small (giant) animal is threatened by others that inhabit the forests of the respective region, this project has the purpose of presenting and expanding the importance of animal and plant conservation and sensitizing the local population (especially the younger ones). This book, which i had the pleasure of participate, was the result of these statements.
